About the Doctor

Dr. David D’Aloisio

Dr. D’Aloisio received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1984. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Western Mustangs varsity football team – carrying on from his previous running back career for the Sudbury Spartans, which earned him All-Star and League MVP awards.

Dr. D'Aloisio received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from the University of Western Ontario and also earned the Orthodontic Award. He then returned to the University of Detroit, where he received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics in 1990. His Master's thesis was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics in 1992. Other publications include a functional appliance study published in the Canadian Dental Journal in 1989.

On the local level, he was the president of the Sudbury Dental Society and provincially, a member of the Student’s Committee of the Ontario Dental Association. He is active in many professional organizations including the American and Canadian Orthodontic Associations.

Dr. D’Aloisio spends much of his spare time on continuing education, sponsoring local teams, clubs, and charity foundations. He enjoys the outdoors, biking and is a member of the YMCA.
